M31 The Andromeda Galaxy
The Andromeda Galaxy is about 2.5 million light-years from Earth, it is named after the mythological
princess Andromeda.
This image was created from 44 stacked images totalling about 44 minutes exposure, the accuracy of the tracking only allowed for 1 minute exposures - something that I need to work on.
I was using my Megrez72. No guiding, just polar aligned. Photographed with an unmodified DSLR (at prime) hence no colour data.
