Of Course I Still Love You

History was made today! SpaceX has successfully managed to land the first stage of their Falcon 9 rocket on an autonomous drone ship floating out in the Atlantic Ocean. The ship itself has the brilliant, sci-fi inspired name "Of Course I Still Love You"—a wonderful nod to the late, great Iain M. Banks. Watching that massive booster touch down gently on a tiny deck amidst rolling sea swells was absolutely nail-biting. This is a massive leap forward for the future of space exploration, proving that reusable rocketry isn't just a pipe dream. Making access to low Earth orbit sustainable and affordable changes the game completely. It's a magnificent engineering achievement that would have made the old shuttle engineers incredibly proud.
